Family Therapy

Family Therapy & Child Parent Psychotherapy aim to help family members better understand themselves and each other, teaching valuable skills in conflict resolution and improving overall communication. The central focus is always the relationships within your family unit.

Family therapy provides a supportive environment to address systemic difficulties that impact the family as a whole. We help families navigate:

  • Recurring conflicts and chronic feelings of disconnect.
  • Behavioral issues in children and youth.
  • Difficult life transitions (such as divorce, loss, or relocation).
  • Patterns of general family dysfunction and communication breakdowns.

Zoe provides a safe, non-judgmental space where the voice of each person is valued equally, fostering mutual understanding and growth.

Our Integrative, Relational Approach

Our work is grounded in an integrative, relational philosophy that views each person holistically—considering their past, present experiences, and future aspirations. Our approach is:

  • Developmentally appropriate
  • Attachment-based and relationally informed
  • Emotionally focused and culturally sensitive

Our practice is always tailored to the specific needs and strengths of your family, ensuring the most fitting support.

We use a variety of tools to engage all family members, regardless of age, encouraging expression and interaction in non-traditional ways. These tools may include:

  • Talking Therapy and guided dialogue.
  • Play Therapy and Puppetry (especially with younger children).
  • Creative Arts and Sand-Tray work.
  • Mindfulness techniques to support regulation.
